What do I need to get started with Float?

We work directly with the company you are requesting a refund from. All we need is for you to start your return with the company, and select Float as your desired refund method. At that point, create an account with us, connect your bank account/card, and select how you would like Float to send you your money, same day. Our goal is to get your money to you as quickly as possible, so our process is as simple as possible.

Why does it normally take so long to get my refund?

When you buy or refund something there are multiple companies involved in the process. Banks, Card Issuers, Payment Processors, ie. When a transaction is initiated it has to move through various parts for the money to get to/from the end account. What we do is send you your refund immediately and deal with the process of waiting in your place.

How soon can I receive my funds?

As soon as your refund is approved by the merchant your funds are available and can be transferred to your account within the same day.

Is there a monthly fee to use Float?

There is no monthly fee to use our service! We are looking at introducing a subscription program to reduce the overall cost to you, but you can still use our service without one.

If I use Float, do I need to do anything after I receive my refund?

From the moment you process your refund through Float, we deal with everything in your place. Customer Service, Wait Times, etc. Go enjoy your hard earned money, it's yours!

Do you require a credit check?

We are always looking at ways to get you your money quicker. In some cases we can give you your refund prior to receiving merchant approval. In those situations we do a soft inquiry of your credit so as to not affect your credit score.

Is there a monthly fee to use Float?

No! We are here to serve the business and their consumers. Over 90% of consumers will choose not to do business with a company due to a poor return experience. 4 out of 10 consumers are unhappy with the time it takes to receive their refund.

What do I need to do to get started with Float?

What products and/or services do you provide refunds for?

We can provide refunds for all consumer product goods and some services with a focus on the travel industry i.e. lodging, airfare and transportation.

Are my customers required to use Float?

No. Your customers are given the option to select Float during the return process. The customer will have the opportunity to preview the return details prior to making a decision providing full transparency.

How does Float integrate with my current POS?

To start we have integrated with the largest ecommerce platform, Shopify. The integration process is quick, easy and out of the box. After installing the Float plugin from the e-commerce marketplace there are just a few quick steps to get Float up and running. We are actively working on integrating with other platforms and directly intoPOS systems.

How does Float integrate with my other return platforms?

As of now, there are no integrations, but Float works completely independently of any other platforms. We are exploring possible integrations with several popular return platforms and will communicate any future partnerships.
